all designers are doing something else aside from designing. the world is rough and fashion appears to be stricken by the global recession [the most!]. from clothes designer, to jewelry to shoe to any other product they can think of. fashion designers are doing everything they can to cope with the fast-paced fashion scene and by that i mean EVERYTHING.

donna karan wanted to reach her customers and fashionistas with her new venture, that is--the iphone application which is synonymous to itunes. this features videos of the designer and a whole lot more! users can now scroll through the runway looks and make their own wishlist that can be sent personally to DK international, in a click! other features include a video call, a section called 'love,love,love' showing donna's two favorite things [personal and for her line]. And so much more!

“This iPhone application is the modern evolution of the time I spend with my customer in the dressing room,” Karan said. “Only now I can reach a world of women immediately, speaking woman-to-woman about clothes, objects of desire and personal passions.”
