pink films make me cry

just woke up.

its 9 in the morning, sun is up.

i had a weird dream. it was a film. i dreamt that i was directing it and of some sort, i cried the whole time. a nostalgic film it was, i finished a box of kleenex the whole time. it was a pink film. a story of a forbidden love between same sex, bound by time, tested their faith, succeeded, parts in the end. it was saddening thinking that i can relate to the story and i can really feel the emotions portrayed by the characters. it made me realize one thing-- never love someone that you cant stand by his side.

so the dream begins with two men, simple, country boy. found each other's company, saw each other's character, one stood out, and the rest was history. everytime they are down or feels terrible, they would hide themselved and cry their hearts out. they would sometimes go under a car, in front of the town's crucifix and places you wouln't event imagine. then came the revelation. the family disliked the whole point of the argument and planned to separate the two. they fought for their love and never comformed with their family's whim. though against their will, the family decided that it was the right time to let go of the kid they know and try to accept the fact that is--their child is gay.

after a while, their relationship grew from best-friends, to secret lovers, to open lovers and now to fiance-ish. then came the sad part. one having to depart from another.

it was a film that i created in my head. a suppressed film i would certainly do in the future. i cried. and thinking of the whole story, it made me teary eyed.

the hip generation: the hippies

ever since 2006 summer and transcended on winter, hippie fashion has always been questioned whether fashionable or off. so here is a collaboration of the hippies in fashion. from hippie people, to hippie runways, to everything but the hip. in the spring of 2006, anna sui themed her runway to hippie.

and here are some hippie people. let's call them the neo-hippies.

alice temperely

the guy who dated natalie portman, devendra banhart

and peace=shalom, shalom harlow

i personally dont like hippie fashion but why not give it a try. not that i dont like loose skirts and uber accessorizing but i just dont see myself in those types of clothes... i tried once but i really looked hideous--more like a walking disaster. my assumption, others can really fit the hip-fash, but not me!

lady gaga is out!

lady gaga does a shoot for the newest out magazine. shot by ellen von unwerth, it is really one hell of lady gaga mania! it was one jaw-dropping experience as lady gaga does a one-of-a-kind-out-of-this-world photoshoot. props include of course, blood, um.. skeleton... a coffin, some fangs, slutty shoes, chains and plasters...

i so can remember the october 2008 issue of vogue italia. they had goth as an inspiration for one of their spreads. the magazine proved the stereotype about goth wrong by pouring out a lot of laces and gloves and balloons, grapes, and a whole lot of texture and textile.

and here is 2008 flair mag's response... they themed it gothica, which had pale models and zombies. [can remember halle berry's gothika. lol]

so here is lady gaga's much awaited out mag spread. see it and go gaga!

injury was never a question

hand cast had a major update! fashionistas never thought that having a hand cast is as cool as a wrist accessory... maya singer, wrote, I was already pondering ways I could make my gimp wrist into a cool fashion accessory when I happened to run into the stylist Lauren Goodman at a party. so she planned to accessorize her cast and walla! there goes her fabulous cast.

now how cool is that?! next, we might never know... the leg cast or even the face cast is the next fashion accessory.

on personals and blogging (the break or no-break edition)

feeling a little bit nauseous, we hurried our way to the resource center for some frying[not the literal frying]. its deliberation/interrogation/questioning time for my group! i swear, i havent had any pre readings before so i was really having butterflies on my stomache. i dont know how or when to speak and to think i did the intro. OMFG! insane...

so there we were in a room--humid and hot and whatever you call it-room. cut the long story short-fast track, we did a wonderful job defending our proposal... i think we did better than sam ronson sister's runway.

im now thinking on a concept for our december runway. i was planning to do cherry blossoms but then it seemed to me that some designers did it already so... i was hoping to have a 'shit' as a concept. but, not feasible! i dont wanna go with my first runway like that? smelling like shit!

these past few days i have been very random with things. like. how many pairs of sneakers do you own. have you had sex with your toy before? i think you like me! stuffs like that...

whatever! useless post this is..

note: someone is heading for some breakup... and now they are together! over and over again. urgh!
