We couldn't tell this was Terry Richardson's work when we first saw it. But the idea of him taking sexually suggestive pictures of Gossip boy Penn Badgley fills us with delight. We're sick of the putting-things-in-overgrown-fields-that-don't-belong-there photo-shoot concept. Magazines love to put couches and lamps in an overgrown field with a frizzy-haired model. It's meant to be quirky, but it's become a cliche. Can we kiss this good-bye in 2009?
